This kit is all you need to start extraction honey from your Honey OATH. It includes a hive tool, bed of nails, box for collecting the draining honey and new straps and buckles for securing the hive closed after opening.

Note - native stingless bees do produce honey but in small quantites, and it can take them a long time. Depending on your location, the position of your hive, the climate that year and what is flowering in close proximity to the hive, you may not have honey to extract until you have owned your hive for over 12 months (longer for NSW/marginal areas). Use the weight of your hive to know when honey can be extracted - for Sugarbag Bees hives this is when the total box weight is in excess of 9kg.
